We've had the winds of stomach bug blow through our house lately. Once yesterday and one tonight. Luckily, the one yesterday lasted less that 12 hours and Bean was healed. So, we got her outdoors today - some sunshine (and a beautiful day!) some fresh air and a bit of purposeful work. We weeded the garden a bit. Well, I weeded, the girls helped, then played, then watered, then coloured with chalk, then weeded. In the middle of weeding, Sassy started screaming. I of course thought injury, bee sting, standing in red ants etc. Apparently a lady bug came to rest on her knee. Ah, my little nature lover. I had to explain that lady bugs were so super sweet, they were fairy bugs, they would never hurt anyone. It just wanted to kiss her. "I don't want dat old bug to kiss me. I don't want nuffing from dat old bug."
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA That child is hysterical.
Bean explained that it was probably the same ladybug that they released last week just coming back to say thank you and let them know that she was loving living back outside.
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW That child is fabulous.
Sweet pea hung out in her little car (that we push like a buggy) eating an oat bran cookie and watching the world go by. She is a total love.
